My take? Editors at Sac Press should not only be looking at stories for potential conflicts of interest before they go live, but they also should, you know, edit the suckers, too.
In print, K.J’s bro’s piece would be an op-ed or a guest comment. And online, there should be a similar transparency, if anything to preserve journalism’s “integrity,” especially as more and more Web news platforms emerge.
